IPEX opens €20 million Centre for Advanced Research near Toronto

In just its first full year of operation, IPEX’s new Centre for Advanced Research near Toronto has already made its mark. The €20 million facility — spanning more than 4,500m² — consolidates research and development, material testing and collaborative customer spaces under one roof, using AI and 3D printing to accelerate the development of durable piping solutions.

The results speak for themselves: 11 new products launched, more than 100 product variants brought to market and nearly €90 million in revenue generated in the facility’s first year alone. Designed to serve the municipal, industrial, commercial and residential sectors, the centre is strengthening IPEX’s position as a North American leader in thermoplastics while bringing customers closer to the innovation process.
