On Line 14 at Aliaxis’ Edmonton site, teams produce Bionax® — a high-performance, molecularly oriented PVC pressure pipe whose production demands a tightly controlled manufacturing process to deliver the consistent quality customers expect.

When performance on the line showed signs of variation, the team took a systematic approach: partnering with an electronics specialist to walk the entire line daily, diagnosing issues, identifying risks and implementing targeted improvements. The effort paid off. Production has stabilised and consistency has improved, with 600mm pressure pipe already shipped to support a major well project on Prince Edward Island.
