5,000 tonnes collected: New Zealand leads the way in plastics circularity

Aliaxis’ commitment to circularity is being demonstrated at scale in New Zealand, where two plastics recycling facilities — in Auckland and Christchurch — collected more than 5,000 tonnes of post-consumer and post-industrial thermoplastic material in 2025.

The Auckland facility is a new addition, complementing the existing Christchurch site as part of a growing network of recycling partnerships across the region. The initiative is part of Aliaxis’ broader circular economy strategy, which aims to close the loop on plastic materials that would otherwise be lost from the production chain.
