Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do. We’re taking action now to make an immediate impact on water and clean energy challenges, delivering solutions within the 2025 timeframe of our Growth with Purpose strategy, as well as into the future.

By 2025, we aim to:

Reduce carbon intensity

Cut carbon emissions intensity by 75% per ton of production, notably by moving to 100% renewable electricity and making lighter, less carbon intensive solutions.

Increase recyclate

Use four times more recycled material in our products to reach a minimum of 50% of what is permitted under current standards.

Drive innovation

Invest heavily in innovation, to create smarter solutions at pace that are built to tackle our customers’ most pressing environmental challenges.

2023 was the hottest year on record – a stark reminder of why we must go further and faster to tackle the twin challenges of climate and water.

Aligning with SDG 6

The three pillars of sustainability – Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) – give us a framework for how we work with each other, wider society and the planet.

We’ve prioritised the areas in which we can make the biggest difference, aligning our objectives and actions across all three pillars with Sustainable Development Goal 6 ensuring access to water and sanitation and Goal 13 taking urgent action to tackle climate change and its impacts.

Maintaining standards to dare, care and deliver

Our aim is to act responsibly and treat each other with respect, anchored in our behaviours: we dare, we care, we deliver.

Our governance team is in place to make sure we execute our strategy to the highest ethical standards, with sustainability weaving through all aspects of our business.

More on governance

Committed to improvement

External certifications play a vital role in both monitoring and recognising our progress. We have engaged with various external bodies and partners to elevate our impact and our reporting, and to show us where we can still improve.

We’re also working to further improve our certification and to qualify for more ratings with the Carbon Disclosure Project and Science Based Target Initiative.

External commitment

We’re part of the UNGC collective of companies, publicly committed to implementing ten fundamental principles covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

Silver rating

The EcoVadis Silver rating puts us in the top 15% of the ‘Manufacture of Plastic Products’ companies evaluated, and reflects the quality of our ESG focus.

Data report

Carbon Disclosure Project is a global system that measures environmental impact to encourage transparency and accountability.

Defined pathways

Science Based Target Initiative presents dashboard of companies and their validated commitments to both near term and long-term goals.

Policies and standards

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our supply chain where we expect our business partners to acknowledge our Supplier Code of Conduct.
