As a world leader in fluid management solutions, we are investing at pace in the technologies we will need to solve the immense water challenges of the future. And we’re laying the foundations for our continued growth beyond 2025.

We engage with promising businesses in three ways:

  • by acquiring companies outright
  • by taking a significant minority stake in businesses to help their management teams make a reality of their business plans
  • by funding entrepreneurs with great new ideas and helping them to build high potential businesses.

By joining forces, we offer early-stage businesses the benefit of our scale and expertise to reach new markets and new investment opportunities.

Targeting the most urgent water challenges

With nearly four billion people projected to be living in water-stressed regions by 2030 and an estimated 35% of all transported water lost through network leakages, we need to take action now.

In alignment with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 6 ‘Clean Water and Sanitation’, our teams are focusing on urgent water challenges that include:

  • Resilient infrastructure: preventing water being lost from networks through leaks
  • Access to water: finding new and innovative ways to make sure everyone has access to clean and drinkable water in their homes
  • Sustainable water management: smarter ways of managing water in buildings and industries, by reducing consumption and reusing water
  • Water for food: more efficient water usage in food production
