Elias, Supply Chain Manager Central America based in Costa Rica.
I’m responsible for the end-to-end supply chain processes for the Costa Rican, Panamanian and Nicaraguan business units. That means I manage local procurement, production and materials planning, import and export, warehousing and local distribution operations. Every day I am challenged by the different situations we face to serve our customers. I am lucky to work with a talented group of professionals who love this company and who are committed to drive continuous improvement in every single thing they do. That really inspires me to give my very best and to be a role model as a manager.
When I started my career at Aliaxis, it caught my attention that the company is a global player and market leader. I felt that I was joining a company that addresses critical global challenges such as lack of water, population growth and waste management. I’m grateful for being given the possibility to grow further and contribute to a better world. I think the way Aliaxis builds its strength on a multicultural organization is really valuable. Thanks to different cultural and technical backgrounds, colleagues can offer completely different points of view. And that is worth so much when it comes to problem-solving. This inclusive culture at Aliaxis also unleashes our ability to grow as a company, allowing us to develop better leaders with broader global and local business knowledge. It enables us to develop a career we’re truly excited about.
